IARU Region 1 Monitoring Service Coordinator Wolfgang Hadel DK2OM reports that the North Korean embassy in Tripoli, Libya, has intruded into the amateur 20 metre band.
Wolf advises that daily as 1630 UTC an F1B model signal (ARQ burst system DPRK-FSK600 600 Baud 600 Hz shift) operates on two different frequencies, one of these being 14328.430 kHz.
A Codar HF radar system has been found on 24.850 – 24.950 MHz, tracked down to Pag Island, Croatia. Official complaints have been lodged.
In good news, the Codar HF radar that has been causing havoc on the amateur 24 MHz band from Naples has disappeared after a complaint.
